First, let me do pranAms to my guru:
In this life I am religious natured woman. Daughter of sikh father and hindu mother. I am married to tamil iyer brahmin. Living in California with my husband.
People call this tall body "Paavani". My parents think that they brought me to this world. But I really don't know my source. What's is my source? Where do we all come from? Also I really don't know my real name. Who am I? Age of this body is 24 years old, but in really don't know how old I am. Do we all know our age? I don't think so. We are all as old as the age of this universe.
We just come and go in different forms speaking different langages or sometimes mute, and we are all aimlessly wandering in this universe. Sometimes here, sometimes there. We just visit here. But our eyes are covered by maya.
Like ishavasya upanishad says:
"hiranmayena patrena satyasyapihitam mukham
tat tvam pusannapavrnu satyadharmaya drstaye.
The truth is covered by maya, gold. Oh lord remove that maya, and show me your form. My form.
agne naya supatha raye asman visvani deva vayunani vidvan
yuyodhyasmajjuhuranameno bhuyistham te nama uktim vidhema
O Lord, as `Agni', you are verily the controller of the body, and even of the whole universe; lead us by the highest path to the wealth of liberation; you fully know all that we know, all the efforts we have made; remove from us the effects of past sinful acts that are causing bondage, thus we pray unto you with our fullest knowledge and devotion. Oh Lord Agni burn my ignorance and show me the path of knowledge. Show me who I am. Please show everyone want to know me who I am. Please also guide them to know their form. Because there is no you, me, or us.
Do you still want to know my real idendity? I am you. You are me. We are not different. I am this, I am that, Living, non-living. We are the universe.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Do I have favourite weblinks? We are all connected by a huge network. Invisible network. All of us are a part of huge universe. We just have to know where we are connected to. Once we know that connection all caste, religions ends there. vedas ends there. Being Iyer or Iyanger, or sikh or shudra has no meaning at that point. You'll be in total bliss. Just close your eyes. clear your thoughts. You'll find bliss. Everyone.
I don't know vedanta. I don't know yoga. I don't know veda. I don't know anything. I don't remember anything. All i can feel is eternal bliss.
Someone thinks I sikh and inferiror to Iyers, and not worthly to marry Iyer. I really don't know what is Iyer, what is iyanger, what is sikh? what is shudra? what is brahmin? Do you know? If you know Please let me know. I'll be waiting to know that answer. Once i know that both you and me will have our answers about the Self.
This body born to sikh parents, I am labeled as shudra who married to upper caste iyer brahmin. Being one of the shudra i have many questions. I want to know what is brahmana? What is higher caste iyer and lower caste sikh? Does the self that the Self has caste? is that self different from yours?
Na karmanA na prajayA dhanena tyAgena eke amrtattvam AnasuhParena
nAkam nihitam guhAyAm vibhrAjate yat yatyah visanti
None can seek to attain this state of gnosis by just any activity or endevour- (na karmanA). The greatest of all social workers or Samaritans are not necessarily possessor of this knowledge. It is also not obtained as a hereditary gift-( na prajayA). Children of sages and seers are not necessarily knowledge conscious. You can not buy this knowledge with wealth- (na dhanena). This only is achievable by practice of renunciation in true sense- (tyAgena eke). This state which the real practitioners of penance (yatyah), attain, is higher than the concept of the heavenly bliss- (parena nAkam). It shines as the most profound realization within them (nihitam guhAyAm vibhrAjate).
"There is only one, not another". Like Krishna says in Bhagawad Gita, "Sarva devam namskaram keshavam prati gacchati". You do namaskara or worship to any one. But, ultimately it goes to krishna. Because there is only one -- brahmana. If there is another, we have a reason to worry.
